Austin Gray is a long-term resident of Davis County. Davis County deserves practical, principled leadership rooted in real-world experience. A lifelong member of the Republican Party, Austin is committed to conservative values, fiscal responsibility, and accountable local government.
Austin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), equipping him with the financial and organizational expertise necessary to manage taxpayer dollars responsibly and ensure county resources are utilized efficiently. He firmly believes that taxes should only be raised after thoroughly reviewing the budget and trimming unnecessary or wasteful spending, because families deserve the same discipline from government that they practice at home. Beyond the classroom, Austin has spent nearly 15 years serving the community as a paramedic. In that role, he has seen firsthand the challenges families face and understands the importance of reliable public services, effective emergency response, and smart policy decisions that put people first.
Austin is married and enjoys raising his family in Davis County, where he calls HOME. Like many families, he is committed to safe neighborhoods, strong infrastructure, and a community where future generations can thrive. His experiences as a husband, father, and first responder shape his commitment to service and his belief that government should be transparent, efficient, and focused on serving the people, not itself.
As Davis County Commissioner, Austin Gray will bring proven leadership, real-world problem-solving, and a strong conservative voice to Davis County. He will work every day to protect taxpayers, support public safety, and keep Davis County a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
